The FAV Systems. End of Line Detonation and Standard Flame Arrestors group can be arranged in many different configurations.
We can configure these units using USCG accepted Detonation Flame arrestors, CSA witnessed Detonation Flame arrestors, Deflagration Flame arrestors or high grade flame arrestors. Shown here are a few of the different configurations from which to choose.
The Sure Stop Detonation Flame Arrestor Grid Assemblies have been extensively engineered and tested to do, not just one job, but many. The Grid assembly is a series of accurately and evenly spaced flat bars that the flame quenching alumina ceramic media, holding it securely in place. The grid assembly also greatly improves the continuous burn rating, and acts as a protective guard for debris that may travel in the piping system. The assembly is arranged so that it is cleanable and rebuildable, saving future maintenance expenses.
FAV Systems offers an exchange program that allows the consumer to monitor his Detonation Flame Arrestor, and if the back pressure increases, a replacement cell can be shipped from the factory for exchange. Once the used element has been removed, it can then be shipped back to FAV to be cleaned and checked.

FAV Systems. now offers the Clean Burn Assembly, a user friendly, Burner-Flame Arrestor Combination. These burner assemblies are designed to be light weight, compact, user friendly and economical. Best of all, these assemblies have been tested to prevent flame propagation from inside the fire tube to outside.

The FAV STD Crimped Ribbon Flame Arrestors are designed to provide protection in low pressure deflagration applications. These units are available in many different configurations with ease of installation and maintenance in mind. The ILNF offers all the working characteristics of the ILSF-A and B but does not have a removable flame quenching element. The flame-quenching element is welded into the unit. The INLF has CSA verification of performance subjected to the same testing as the ILSF-A and B. The ILNF does not require gaskets and is lightweight. The ILNF is considerably more economically priced.
Even though the element is not removable it is still 100% cleanable.
