FAV Systems Electronic Ignitors are designed for applications where fuel gas does not exist, or for conditions where gas conservation is considered to be of importance. The Electri-Lite head is totally retractable to ground level. The head assembly on the retractable unit can be moved up and down in the wind shroud to find the best ignition point where the air and fuel meet. The ignitor head insulator is mounted 10'' below the intense heat of the flare, so it is not subjected to high heat and cracking. The arc spacing will not change, because the protected Electrode and this long lasting design remains consistent under high heat and warping conditions caused by winds blowing the gas to one side of the flare tip.
The Stays Lit Ceramic Burner Tube Pilot has been designed and tested by FAV Systems to be used in burner tubes of all sizes and ratings. Our design assurances that the ignition source remains stable and ready to ignite the main burner in any weather condition. The Stays Lit Pilot is very fuel efficient, intense, durable and can easily be adapted to fit most fire tubes. Since the pilot Premix Chamber is mounted outside the main fire tube, it is not suffocated by reverse flows or down drafts. Ignition stability is ensured by continuous flow of fresh primary air from outside.
